Cloud4Waste Marketplace

Your waste is worth something.Stop paying to throw it away.

Cloud4Waste Marketplace connects UK waste producers with the collectors and reprocessors who want their material. List your cardboard, plastics or general waste once, compare offers from operators who cover your postcode, and choose your own supplier. The producer account is free.

One platform, three sides

Smarter waste, for everyone in the loop

Waste only works as a system. Cloud4Waste sits across all three sides of it — the machine that compacts the material, the business that produces it, and the operator who collects it.

Waste producers

List the cardboard, plastics or general waste you produce, see offers from collectors who actually cover your postcode, and choose who collects. No fees, no tie-in, no rep on your doorstep.

Machine owners

Cloud4Waste started with machinery — real-time fill levels, bale counts and uptime from your baler or compactor, so collections are scheduled when they are genuinely needed.

What you can list

Material a collector will pay to take

Clean, separated material is what recyclers want. Bale it and it is worth more; keep it loose and it is still worth listing. Either way, you stop guessing what your waste is worth.

Cardboard and paper

Loose boxes, flattened stock or tied mill-size bales from 400kg to over 1,000kg.

Plastics

Film, shrink wrap, PET and HDPE — baled or loose, depending on your volumes.

General waste

Mixed and non-recyclable waste, where a compactor or skip service fits your site.

Not sure what your waste stream is worth? See our cardboard balers or book a free waste assessment and we will tell you which material you should be recovering.

For waste producers

Four steps from bin to paid

Most waste contracts are inherited, not chosen — nobody ever asks whether the price is fair. Listing your material takes a few minutes and puts it in front of operators who want it.

1

Tell us what you produce

The material, roughly how much and how often, and your postcode. That is all the detail a collector needs to quote.

2

Collectors come to you

Only collectors who cover your area see your listing. No cold calls from operators who cannot service your site.

3

Compare offers and choose

Weigh price against collection frequency, container size and service. You are under no obligation to accept any offer.

4

Sell your material, not your margins

Baled cardboard and plastics have a resale value. Instead of paying to lose it, you agree a rate with the collector you pick.

What changes for a producer

  • You see what your material is actually worth, instead of a single take-it-or-leave-it price.
  • You choose a collector who covers your postcode — not one who sends a truck from three counties away.
  • You can switch or re-tender whenever the service or the price stops working.
  • You keep the rebate on clean, baled material rather than handing the value over with the waste.

For waste collectors

Fill your routes, not your sales diary

Every producer on the marketplace is a business that needs collections and has already described what it produces. For a collector, that is a qualified enquiry that arrived on its own.

  • See live jobs filtered by material, volume and postcode, so you only bid for work on your routes.
  • Link and verify one business identity, so producers can see exactly who is quoting them.
  • Win repeat commercial collections rather than relying on one-off spot hires.
  • No listing fee to browse and bid for work in your coverage area.

Cloud4Waste Marketplace questions

How the free producer account works, what you can list, and who you are dealing with.

Yes. Producers list their waste and receive offers at no cost, and there is no charge per collection or per listing. MHM earns its living supplying, servicing and monitoring waste machinery — the marketplace exists to make the whole loop work better, not to take a cut of your waste budget.

Cardboard and paper, plastics (film, PET and HDPE) and general or mixed waste are the core materials. If you produce something outside those categories, list it anyway with a description and collectors will tell you whether they can handle it.

No. Loose cardboard in a cage or bin can be listed just as easily. Baling simply gets you a better rate, because denser bales are cheaper to transport and fetch more from a mill. If you are not sure which machine your volumes justify, our team can tell you honestly whether you need one at all.

Collectors link their business identity before they can bid, so producers can see exactly who is quoting before accepting anything. You agree the price and terms directly with the collector you choose.

Cloud4Waste is built and run by MHM UK LTD — a UK waste and recycling machinery manufacturer and service business established in 2001, with over 1,000 machines installed. The same engineers who install balers and compactors support the platform.

No. The marketplace is open to waste producers whatever equipment you run, including collections organised with third-party operators. Cloud4Waste telemetry works alongside the marketplace for customers who have MHM machines.
